Housing Abundance Roadshow: Practical Solutions for Local Growth

Housing supply constraints are limiting where people can live and work across the country. This June, the AEI Housing Center will take its data and tools on the road.

The AEI Housing Center will host six convenings during the week of June 22 in Denver, San Francisco, San Jose, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Dallas, with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce collaborating in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Dallas.

These convenings will focus on practical, data-driven solutions to today’s housing challenges. Registration is free.

The convenings aim to:

  1. Demonstrate how the AEI Housing Center’s extensive, publicly available housing data can be used to promote abundant and sustainable housing growth, offering a practical roadmap for policymakers, developers, academics, and advocates.
  2. Show how housing data, including the Strong Foundations Playbook, Where Jobs Sleep?, and Good Neighbors Market Intelligence can help communities increase local revenues, improve living standards, lower property tax rates, support essential workers, and minimize pushback to new housing.
  3. Engage the broader business community in the housing conversation, highlighting the role employers can play in advancing solutions that support workers and strengthen local economies.

These convenings will bring together the best minds in the housing realm to find, share, and build strategies for today’s solutions. We hope you’ll help make these convenings a success.
